What the decision will mean: That Thanet District Council will be legally compliant with new waste regulations 2011 (TEEP test). The Regulations require all local authorities to have considered the methods of recycling collections and provide evidence that methods used ensure high quality material delivery to re-processors. Assessment report being undertaken by consultant engaged collectively by Canterbury, Dover, Shepway and Thanet.
