Additional Information

I represent Bradstowe ward at District, Town and Kent County Council and have done so since 1997.

It is an honour to be a member of Kent Police Authorities and Kent Fire and Rescue Authority.

Bradstowe

The Bradstowe ward is situated in the urban area of Broadstairs and St. Peter's.  The north side of the town centre is part of the ward and the rest is made up of residential properties.

The age range that live in the ward are from the very young to the very old, so we have obviously different concerns to overcome on their behalf.

The ward I represent is one of the most beautiful parts of not only Thanet but of Kent and I'm very proud to represent people that live here.  Since being elected in 1999 I have met most of the residents personally and have endeavoured to help them overcome their concerns.

Since being elected as one of the Councillors for the Bradstowe ward I have successfully endeavoured to receive allocations of funding for the good of the people I represent.  Trees that were removed from Magdalen Court I put forward the argument that they should be replaced.  These will grow hopefully into the mature trees that they have replaced.

Various features within the ward have been inspected and upgraded to a high standard.  Obviously I walk the area that I represent as often as possible and inspect the pavements, overhanging foliage and general appearance of the streets within the ward making sure they are clean and rubbish, graffiti and such likes are removed as quickly as possible.
