Cabinet considered a report recommending the letting of the heating servicing and repairs contract for space heating servicing, health and safety inspections, maintenance and installation works for  HRA housing stock. 

Cabinet agreed to:

1.  The letting of the contract for space heating servicing, health and safety inspections, maintenance and installation works for HRA housing stock.

The letting of the contract  was recommended for the following reasons:

• The current contract is due to expire 31/3/2022;
• This service is vital from a regulatory and Health and Safety point of view.

The option to reject the letting of the contract was rejected because the current contract is due to expire 31 March 2023 and this is a vital service provision required to ensure we can fulfil our legislative and regulatory obligation.
