It was proposed by officers to add a condition and informative to their recommendation for approval of Schedule item 5F following advice from KCC Biodiversity to the recommended approval of the application. The condition would read:

 

Prior to any works commencing (including vegetation clearance) a detailed reptile mitigation strategy is produced and submitted to the LPA for written approval.  It must include the following:

 

  • Reptile survey
  • Overview of the mitigation required
  • Methodology to implement mitigation
  • Maps clearing showing the receptor area
  • Timing of the proposed works
  • Simple management plan for the receptor site.

 

The works must be implemented as detailed within the approved document.

 

An informative would also be attached informing the applicant about their responsibilities under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
