Councillor M Saunders proposed, and Councillor Rogers seconded and Members agreed the minutes as a correct record of the meeting held on 5 October 2021.

It was proposed by Councillor Shrubb, seconded by Councillor Potts and Members agreed:

 

That the public and press be excluded from the meeting for agenda item 5 as it contains exempt information as defined in Paragraph 7 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

Licence to Drive Private Hire Vehicles

Minutes:

Ms Phillips, Principal Litigation Solicitor made the introductory remarks by advising on the meeting procedure for the discussion of this item.

 

MsMalyn, Licensing Officer, presented the report.

 

The Applicant addressed the Board.

 

Members asked questions of the Applicant.

 

Following the debate, Members of the Board agreed the following:


Upon the consideration of the application for a new licence to drive private hire vehicles from Mr Alekseys Kofanovs;

 

And upon the consideration of the documentation, a report and representations from

 

1. The Licensing Officer – Ms Mayln

2. The Licence Holder – Mr Kofanovs

 

The decision of the Licensing Board on the 23rd November is to grant the application for a new Private Hire Vehicle Licence.’
