Minutes of Previous Meeting To approve the Minutes of the Constitutional Review Working Party meeting held on 2 September 2014 copy attached. Minutes: The Working Party AGREED that the minutes of the Constitutional Review Working Party held on 2 September 2014 be approved and signed by the Chairman. |

Member/Officer Protocol Additional documents: Minutes: Alex Hallam, Assistant Director of Essex Legal Services outlined the work she had done in reviewing the Member/Officer Protocol.
The Working Party agreed that the Monitoring Officer and Alex Hallam would review the sections of the Member/Officer Protocol highlighted in the meeting and an amended draft showing the proposed changes would be presented at the next meeting.
It was agreed that further consideration should be given to which sections would be best placed in the Constitution and what should be included in the Protocol.
In addition, it was agreed that Parts 1 and 2 of the Constitution would be brought for consideration to the next meeting and that Alex Hallam would give a broad outline of the work undertaken on Part 4. |
