The Parking and Transportation Enforcement Manager presented their case.
The Sub-Committee asked questions to the Parking and Transportation team.
The Applicant responded to the Sub-Committee’s questions and made their final representations.
The Sub-Committee agreed the following:
“Having considered the application to vary the premises licence for LA! at 13-15 High Street, Margate, CT9 1DL the Licensing Sub-Committee have decided to approve the application with the following conditions:
Subject to the Planning application approval.
1. Noise Management: The applicant shall submit an approved Noise Management Plan (NMP) and an acoustic report as specified by Environmental Health, including necessary works to control noise levels emanating from the basement.
2. Basement Capacity and Fire Safety: The basement capacity shall be restricted to 60 people as per Kent Fire and Rescue Service recommendations. The applicant shall submit an updated fire risk assessment for the basement area to ensure safety and compliance with fire regulations.
3. Security Measures: The applicant shall implement a Challenge 25 policy, maintain a refusals register, and ensure that SIA door staff supervise any queues or events until closing time.” |
