Election of Chairman Minutes: It was proposed by Cllr Game and seconded by Cllr Everitt and agreed by the Committee that Cllr Campbell be elected as Chairman of the General Purposes Committee. |

Exclusion of Press and Public Minutes: It was proposed by Cllr S Piper, seconded by Cllr D Saunders and agreed by the Committee to exclude the press and public for consideration of consideration of item 5. |

To receive advice from the Local Government Association on governance processes for staffing matters Minutes: The Committee were advised by Cllr Everitt that this report was not ready and so the item would be withdrawn from the agenda for consideration in the new calendar year. |
