Councillor Ashbee proposed, Councillor Saunders seconded and Members agreed that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for agenda items 4, 5, 6 and 7 as they contain exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

To approve the Minutes of the meeting of the General Purposes Committee held on 26 January 2022, copy attached.

Councillor Piper proposed, Councillor Bayford seconded and Members agreed the minutes as a correct record of the General Purposes Committee meeting that was held on 26 January 2022.

Members discussed the report from the Independent Monitoring officer and agreed to forward the report to a future General Purposes Committee meeting and Full Council.
