What the decision will mean: To adopt the Local Plan with the recommended modifications. This would provide the Council with a “sound” Local Plan, on which it can base planning decisions; provides certainty for local people, agents and developers, in terms of where development should happen and where it should not; and helps to guide investment and provides the basis for infrastructure bids to Government.
