The existing pavilion building at Jackey Bakers Recreation Ground is dilapidated, presents a health and safety hazard and is beyond economical repair. It is currently fenced off to prevent unforced access to the perimeter of the building. Jackey Bakers Recreation Ground is a key location in the district for football facilities. Changing facilities are essential for the continuation of various football tournaments and training.
