My vision for next two years

My vision is to help the homeless in Thanet and bring more empty homes back into use. The Housing Team is doing a fantastic job which has been nationally recognised and I will attempt to lend every support as they continue to provide high quality local authority housing through innovative working with our partner organisations.

I aim to develop good relationships with volunteer groups and ‘friends’ groups to look after our parks and open spaces. Budget reductions from government and Kent County Council mean we will need to have the very best community involvement.

A key aim is to work well with local town councils and other bodies and to continue to improve the district as a place to visit, live and work.

About Me

I am a keen motorcyclist and enjoy going fishing. At home I enjoy watching sport on the TV including Moto GP, World and British superbikes, American football and cricket – both women’s and men’s. Also of course spending time with my family. I also play the saxophone, sometimes with backing tracks at parties and social gatherings.
