Minutes:

Councillor Nicholson proposed, Councillor Campbell seconded and Members agreed that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for agenda item 5 (Review of the Current Pleasurama Site Development Agreement - External Legal Advice) as it contained exempt information as defined in Paragraph 5 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

Minutes:

Mr Harvey Patterson, Corporate & Regulatory Services Manager introduced the item. He went through the main issues relating to the legal advice received from Pinsent Mason LLP. Members had been offered the opportunity to view the full copy of the legal advice before the sub-group meeting; only by appointment with Mr Patterson. Mr Patterson then requested Members of the sub-group to come up with recommendations to be forwarded to the Overview & Scrutiny Panel. He said that the legal advice offered Members the opportunity to offer a number of options for consideration by the executive in order to move forward the Pleasurama Site Development issue.

 

Members received the report.
