A decision is needed to progress with the dissolution of East Kent ICT and to bring the services back in-house within the Digital Transformation team. This is being recommended to improve the way the council operates and provide better services to our residents by the use of technology and efficiencies it brings.

2. That authority is delegated to the Chief Executive and Director of Communications and Digital to:
· Make any further decisions and to carry out all necessary processes to give effect to the decision to disband EKICT;
· To approve and enter into any agreement necessary to give effect to the decision; including but not limited to novation of any contracts between all or any of the three councils and any third parties;
3. That this report be provided to the East Kent Services Committee.
