The council has set out its ambition for housing for the district in its Corporate Statement 2019-2023. This ambition includes priorities to increase the supply of affordable homes, improve the quality, energy efficiency and safety of homes across all tenures and to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping.
This decision notice agrees to the establishment of a Cabinet Advisory Group for Housing (HCAG), to support the Cabinet in progressing these objectives. Detailed Terms of Reference for the new HCAG are attached at annex 1.
