Local Authority Discretionary Grants Fund

Proposals for how the council will use £1.66m funding from Government for the Discretionary Grant Scheme (DGS). The scheme is aimed at those businesses that didn’t qualify for the previous round of business grants, that have been affected by Covid-19.

The proposals allow for an element of local discretion in the allocation of Government funding, which is directed towards sectors which are recognised as important in corporate priorities.
